Charlie F. Enfield Jr. died Jan. 6, 2010, at his home in Hutchinson.
He was born Sept. 6, 1934, in Hutchinson to Charlie F. and Katherine BuenaVista Ebersole Enfield.
He was a lifetime Hutchinson resident. He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1952 and attended Hutchinson Community College, graduating in 1954. He was a service technician for Kansas Gas Service Company. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Hutchinson.
He married Letha Beverly Ann Douglas on Aug. 1, 1954, in Hutchinson. She died April 28, 2007.
Survivors include: sons, Charlie III, Hutchinson, Michael and wife Lori, Burrton; daughters, Kaye and husband Charles Richmond, Hutchinson, Kim Carnes, Westminister, Colo.; sisters, Sally and Janet Enfield, Salina, Joyce Morris, Lawson, Mo.; 26 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Gary Sessions officiating. Burial to follow in Wildmead Cemetery, Nickerson. Friends may call 12 to 9 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, with family present to receive friends 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Pleasant View Home in Inman in care of the mortuary.
