Obituary

Chase Richard Loudenback, 28, of Hutchinson, died Friday, September 28, 2018, in Hutchinson, after losing his ongoing battle with addiction. He was born December 29, 1989, in Hutchinson, the son of Chad Richard and Kelly Denise (Hansen) Loudenback.

Chase graduated from Buhler High School in 2008. He attended Dodge City Community College, graduated from Hutchinson Community College and attended Post University, where he was on the baseball team for each school. Chase was employed at Longfellow Foundations and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Beginning at a young age, he was extremely active and competitive in everything he did. Growing up, he played soccer, basketball, and football, but baseball was where he truly excelled. Chase was a huge sports fan and loved the outdoors, especially bow hunting. For those that knew Chase, he had an infectious laugh and his smile lit up a room. Chase was a compassionate and loving person. He had a big heart and loved his family and friends, and they will all miss him dearly.

Chase is survived by: his parents, Chad and Kristi Loudenback, and Kelly Loudenback and Darrell Walker all of Hutchinson; sisters, Mallory Loudenback, Overland Park, and Addisyn Loudenback, Hutchinson; grandparents, Richard Loudenback, Hutchinson, Dale and Chris Hansen, Turon, and Dixie and B.J.Lockey, Cedar Creek, MO; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joan Loudenback.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Grace Bible Church, 1221 East 33rd Avenue, Hutchinson with Pastor Rick Goertzen presiding. Inurnment will be in Abbyville Cemetery. Friends may sign the register book from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Hutchinson.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Oxford House Chapter 13, Hutchinson or Men of Grace, Grace Bible Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.

Chase, like others suffering from this disease, was so much more than his addiction.
