Cheryl A. Griffin, 74, of Hutchinson, died January 30, 2018, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born December 12, 1943, in Hutchinson, to Cecil and Joyce (Eisiminger) Roberts.
She was a supervisor at the Hutchinson Salt Company, a member of Park Place Christian Church, and spent many years coaching youth sports. Cheryl loved every sport, from coaching boys baseball, basketball, soccer, to girls softball and basketball.
Cheryl married James Griffin on May 31, 1969, in Hutchinson. He survives. Other survivors include: daughters, Christene McCrary (Philip Winkel), Hutchinson, Michele Griffin Westminister, CO; son, Justin Griffin (Julie), Westminister, CO; grandchildren: Jake McCrary, Adyleine Griffin, and Kenzleigh Griffin; brother, John Roberts, Moundridge; and her Colorado daughter, Jalane Daily. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Park Place Christian Church, 2600 N. Adams, Hutchinson, with Pastors David and Cindy Dubovich officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday with the family to receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
