Christine Renee Roberts, 61, passed away October 6, 2026, at her home in Hutchinson. She was born June 13, 1965, in Pratt, KS, to Larry Wayne and Cynthia Ann (Julian) Putz.

In 1983, Christine graduated from Hays High School. Throughout her life, she held various jobs, most recently working as a housekeeper at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, where she had been employed for the past four years.

In her spare time, Christine enjoyed going to garage sales and treasure hunting for antiques, often with a little laugh and the hope that her kids, wouldn’t find out what she brought home. She loved caring for her dogs, tending to her yard, and sitting outside, soaking up the sunshine, and riding her beloved Jeep. Christine also had a special love for all things haunted and mysterious and found excitement in exploring abandoned, haunted houses.

Christine is survived by: her children, Amanda (Dustin Bearden) Roberts and Derrick (Nikki) Hulen; grandchildren, Cale, Karter, Colt, Brayden, Payton, Kelsey, and Eric; niece, Tiffany (Nathan) Schulte; nephew, Kyle (Cadence) Mortensen; sister, Lisa Mortensen; brother, James (Jennifer) Graves; four-legged babies, Maggie and Gunner; many extended family members; and her cats and other wildlife friends.

She was preceded in death by: her father, Larry; brothers, Richard and David; great-nephew, Marshall; and dog, Cleo.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
