Christine S. Willard's Obituary
Christine S. Willard, 96, died Oct. 21, 2007, at Good Samaritan Center, Hutchinson.
She was born March 15, 1911, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Fred and Jessie Groty Weesner. She was a graduate of Hutchinson High School and Hutchinson Junior College. A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, she was an office secretary for Grandview School.
She belonged to First Christian Church.
On Jan. 29, 1935, she married Herbert C. Willard in Hutchinson. He died Dec. 11, 1995.
Survivors include: two sons, Kenneth, Scottsdale, Ariz., and Charles, New Albany, Ind.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, with the Rev. John Warring presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to the First Christian Church, in care of the mortuary, 1219 N. Main Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67501.
