Christopher O. Nay, 58, died July 30, 2015, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born March 28, 1957, in Manhattan, Kan., the son of Merle "Bones" and Norene Nay.
His professional career covered many areas in building and construction. Chris was involved in building the Wolf Creek Nuclear Power Plant in eastern Kansas. He lived in El Dorado for many years. He was in home construction as a finish carpenter. He belonged to a motor cycle club, taking trips nationwide.
He is survived by: his parents, "Bones" and Norene Nay; sister, Cynde Kitch and husband Rick; two nephews, Ross Kitch, Scott Kitch and wife Andrea; great-niece, Liby Kitch; two step children, Junilda Scribner and husband Daniel and family, Jeremy Tucker and wife Toni.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, at First Church of the Nazarene, Hutchinson, with Pastor Randall Harrell officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
