Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Houston, 49, of Hutchinson, died September 10, 2022, at her residence. She was born December 18, 1972, to Jack Houston and Teresa Escareno, in Neodesha.

Cindy was a resident at Disability Supports along with her roommate of over 30 years, Janna Frank. She loved to go out of the house. Cindy loved to go shopping and eat while she was out.

She is survived by: her mother, Teresa Escareno (Conrad Veale); brother, Scott McMullen; aunts, Cathy Neel, Roberta Hawthorne (Ron); uncles, John Escareno (Marcia), Richie Escareno (Debbie), Thomas Escareno, all of Eureka; roommate, Janna Frank; and numerous cousins.

Cindy was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Moetta Escareno, Ed and Janice Escareno; and aunt, Lucy Escareno.

A memorial service will be 10 am Monday, September 19, 2022, at Elliott Mortuary. Friends may sign the book from 9 am to 5pm on Saturday and 1 pm to 5pm on Sunday at Elliott Mortuary. Graveside committal will be 11 am Saturday, September 24, 2022, in Greenwood City Cemetery, Eureka.
