Obituary

Cindy A. Muir, 61, died March 5, 2007, at her home, Hutchinson.

She was born June 13, 1945, in Alamosa, Colo., the daughter of Cecil Roy Templin and Norma Pearl Patten. A resident of Hutchinson since 1963, she was a homemaker, day care provider and owner of Teddy Bear Child Care.

On June 5, 1964, she married James L. Muir in Hutchinson. He survives.

Other survivors include: children, Tammy Pfannenstiel and husband, Monty, Santa Fe, Texas, and James "Bo" Muir Jr. and wife, Alisa, Buhler; a sister, Debbie Courtney and companion, Dave Rose, Hutchinson; six grandchildren, Tyson, Libby, Jennifer, Bailey, Evan and Dedra; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a stepfather, Samuel Gilliland; and two sisters, Jennie Templin and Nancy Hicks.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Chaplain Frederick J. Obold presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.
