Clara B. Brown's Obituary
Clara B. Brown, 75, died Nov. 4, 2014, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born Oct. 30, 1939, in Sherman, Texas, to Mary Hines.
She was married to Richard F. Brown for 45 years before his death on Sept. 28, 2004.
Clara was a landlord for rental properties in Hutchinson for many years and a member of Riverside Baptist Church.
Survivors include: sons, Wayne Brown of Long Beach, Calif., Steve Brown (Paula) of Hutchinson; daughters, Theresa Norstrom (Robert), and Mary Reed, both of Hutchinson; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harvey Grisham of Abernathy, Texas. Clara was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a sister, Evelyn Bridget.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, at Riverside Baptist Church, Hutchinson, with Pastor Richard Haley, Sr. presiding. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
