Clara Josephine Ketchum, 93, died July 2, 2015, at Sunshine Meadows Nursing Home, Buhler. She was born Feb. 26, 1922, in Sterling, to Albert Harmon and Zetta Mae (Cosat) Frye.

She was employed at Western Food Company for 26 years and then retired. She later went to work with her husband at Ketchum's Used Cars, Hutchinson Auto Auction and Hutchinson Auto Store. She was a member of New Life Church of the Nazarene.

On April 14, 1960, she married Sterling Edward Ketchum in Hutchinson. He died Jan. 9, 1996.

Survivors include: son, Leroy Ketchum and wife Juanita of Hutchinson; daughters, Dee Ann Munday of Sturgis, Ky., Phyllis Hageman and husband Mark of Hutchinson, and DeAnna Rutledge of Arlington; brother, William Thomas "Bill" Frye and wife Pat of Nickerson; sisters, Ora Henry of Hutchinson, and Maudie Brack of Buhler; 31 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 21 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Linda Rowden, Judy Drazkowski, Richard and Gary Ketchum; brothers, Burt and George Frye; sisters, Avis Anderson, Peggy Phipps, Faye Gibson and Nellie Neuenschwander.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at First Church of the Nazarene, 4290 N. Monroe, Hutchinson, with Pastor Gary Worthington presiding. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 pm. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, New Life Church of the Nazarene or Sunshine Meadows Nursing Home, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
