Clarence C. Eales' Obituary
Clarence C. Eales, 77, died Feb. 23, 2007, at Hutchinson Hospital.
He was born July 20, 1929, in Meade, the son of Philip and Gladys Howell Eales. A longtime Hutchinson resident, he was a retired mailroom foreman for The News.
He belonged to the First Church of the Nazarene. He served in the U.S. National Guard during the Korean War.
On Feb. 2, 1949, he married Wilma Marie Birt in Hutchinson, She died Jan. 3, 1998.
Survivors include: a daughter, Patricia Lenz, Hutchinson; two sisters, Beverly Ann Seifert, Hutchinson, and Barbara Muir, Yuma, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Brian D. Smith presiding. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.
Memorials may be sent to the First Church of the Nazarene or Buhler Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community, both in care of the funeral home.
