Clarence H. Forrester Jr., died May 18, 2014, at Via Christi on St. Francis, Wichita. He was born Feb. 22, 1944, in Mongul, Pa., the son of Clarence H. Forrester Sr. and Eva Esther (Clever) Forrester.
Clarence was a self-employed farmer and truck driver. He was married to Linda (Miller) Forrester for 43 years and then divorced. To this union were born five children: Eddie R. Forrester (Tracy) and Tammy Baer (Randy), all of Orrstown, Pa., Timothy W. Forrester (Karen) and John E. Forrester (Brenda), all of Big Piney, Wyo., and Mark C. Forrester (Sommer) of Orrstown, Pa.; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Eva Farner, Margaret Appleby and Wandalee Witmer; and his companion, Annie Moeder of Plevna. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Elizabeth Holtry and Mary Diehl.
Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at Salem Cemetery, Chambersburg, Pa., at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Clarence Forrester Jr. Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
