Clarence E. Killingsworth, 100, died peacefully Nov. 15, 2007, at Dillon Living Center.
He was born Sept. 23, 1907, in Denver, Mo., the son of Charles and Ethel Hopewell Killingsworth. A Hutchinson resident since 1950, formerly of Liberal and Pratt, he was the manager for Graves Truck Line.
He was one of Jehovah's Witness.
On June 2, 1932, he married Florence June Traver at Liberal. She died Dec. 4, 1993.
Survivors include: a daughter, Joy Bergthold and husband, Bud, Arlington, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Betty Killingsworth, Hutchinson; six grandchildren, Darren and Starla Killingsworth, Hutchinson, Juna and Jim Keever, Hutchinson, Russell and Diana Killingsworth, Rock Island, Ill., Amy and James Sutcliffe, Leo, Ind., Curtis Bergthold, Arlington, Texas, Teresa and Owen Williams, Arlington, Texas; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jim Killingsworth; a brother, Dale Killingsworth; and two sisters, Mearl Killingsworth, and Bessie Keen.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Mike LaMunyon presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Sunday at the chapel, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.
Memorials may be sent to the East Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses, in care of the funeral home.
