Clark W. Miller, 65, of Hutchinson, died Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born March 22, 1952, in Hutchinson, to Harold L. and Helen Jeanine (Clary) Miller.
Clark graduated from Nickerson High School in 1970 and attended Hutchinson Community College, Wichita State University, and St. Mary of the Plains College in Dodge City. He was a small business owner before working for a number of businesses, including Cessna, Kansas Glass and KWBW. He was the Reno County Treasurer for 20 years. Clark was a member of Park Place Christian Church, where he volunteered and served as an elder and deacon. He had been a member of the Kiwanis Club, Hutchinson Jaycees, Central Kansas Corvette Club, and the Harley Owners Group. Clark was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
On May 26, 1979, he married Robyn Gore in Hutchinson. They shared 38 years of marriage. Clark is survived by: wife, Robyn; daughter, Kelly Alexander (Nathan), of Hutchinson; son, Nicholas Miller (Rachel Rasmussen) of Parker, Colorado; grandchildren, Nichole, Austin, and Ethan Alexander, all of Hutchinson; siblings, Marc Miller, Susan Pitzer, Brad Miller, Lynda Miller; and father-in-law, Robert Gore. He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Scott Miller; mother-in-law, Betty Gore; and brother-in-law, Danny Gore.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Park Place Christian Church, 2600 N. Adams, with Pastor David Dubovich officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call Friday from 1 to 8 p.m. with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
