Claude Sharp's Obituary
Claude Sharp, 90, died Feb 10, 2014. He was born Aug. 19, 1923, to Clyde and Jessie Sharp in Hutchinson, Kan.
He served in the Navy during WWII. After the war he used the GI bill and graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Business, and was an avid KU fan.
On July 18, 1948, he married Valetta (Vickie) Moeckel of Sylvia, Kan. This union was blessed with twins; they were married 65 years.
Survivors include: children, Steve and wife Susan of Thayer, Mo., CJ Finney and husband Charles of NRH, Texas; grandchildren, Jacob and Laura Sharp; niece, Laura Southards. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruthail Hunt.
Private family service will be held at a later date. Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Hutchinson, is in charge of the arrangements.
