Obituary

Cleo A. Dutton, 88, died Oct. 29, 2008, at Good Samaritan Center, Hutchinson.

He was born June 26, 1920, in Arapahoe, Neb., the son of Ernest Wilbur and Pauline Anderson Dutton.

He moved to Hutchinson after his discharge from the U.S. Army. He attended schools in Neb. He was a self-employed truck driver and later a driver for Dahlsten Truck Line.

He was a member of Bob Campbell Post #1361 of the V.F.W. and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #982, all of Hutchinson. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He married Georgia Dutton. She died in 1986. He later married Jackie Gagnebin on July 7, 1986, in Wichita. She died Nov. 26, 2007. He is survived by: one stepson, Richard L. "Rick" Gagnebin, Hutchinson; sister, Juanita Sease, Alta Loma, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Cletus Dutton.

Funeral 11 a.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, with Rev. Tim Soule. Visitation will be 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 to service time on Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.

Memorials may be sent to the Hospice House of Reno County.
