Cleta Faye "Sis" Ellington, 85, died January 13, 2025, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. She was born December 14, 1939 in Hutchinson, to Cletis B. and Gladys M. (Lee) Hunt.

Cleta was a 1958 graduate of Hutchinson High School. She worked as a truck driver for Coca-Cola, and for Collins Bus Corporation, she retired from the YMCA after many years of service. Cleta enjoyed playing bingo, collecting buttons for her collection, attending garage-sales, drawing and writing. She cherished meeting new people and was a friend to everyone.

Cleta is survived by: sons, Garrett Friddle of Nowata, OK, Bruce Friddle of Springfield, MO, Cletis Ellington of Lehigh; sister, Connie Pohlman of Hutchinson; nephew, Chris Wietrick; special cousin, Laura (Fred) Hunt-Southards; friend, Catherine LaPrade, all of Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; sister Ethel Powell; brother, Ronald Hunt.

Cremation has taken place; graveside service will be announced at a later date.
