Clifford R. 'Cliff' Bass, 86, of South Hutchinson, died Friday, March 16, 2018, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born November 19, 1931, in Hutchinson, to Clifford and Mamie (Burton) Bass.

Cliff retired as a butcher for Winchester Packaging. He loved to fish and spend time with his beloved dog, Sassy.

Cliff is survived by: children, Johnnie Bass (Sheryl), Bonnie McElroy (Jim), Toni Miller, Sandy Troyer; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and Sassy. He was preceded in death by: his parents; the children's mother, Anna 'Jeanette' (Cox) Scranton; two brothers; and two sisters.

Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary. The casket will remain closed.
