Clifford William Durgin's Obituary
Clifford William Durgin, 82, died Oct. 5, 2015, in Netwon. He was born in South Bridgton, Maine, to Neal M. and Mary Evelyn (Bilideau) Durgin.
He went to Fryburg High School until he entered into the United States Navy, where he served over 21 years. On Sept. 4, 1955, Clifford married Betty, in Cheney. She survives. Other survivors include: children, Clinton Durgin and wife Valerie of Bon Aqua, Tenn., and Robin Friesen and husband Mark of Park City; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Neal Durgin Jr. and wife Grace of Augusta, Maine, and Edward Durgin of Bridgton, Maine; sister, Lorna Mowatt and husband Arthur of Bridgton, Maine. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the memorial book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
