Clora Marie Hartnell, 83, of Hutchinson died Aug. 19, 2012, at Hospice House. Clora was born Nov. 24, 1928, at Kingman, the daughter of Walter F. and Meredith C. Browning Yarberry.
She was a 1946 graduate of Kingman High School and graduated from nursing school at Eufaula, Ala. in 1978. She retired as an L.P.N. from Hutchinson Hospital in 1990.

Clora married Bernard R. Hartnell in 1970 at Columbus, Ga. He died Aug. 21, 1978. Survivors include: a son, Greg Bontrager; a daughter, Randy Seymour, both of Hutchinson; two sisters, Donna Lindstrom of Ariz., and Sandra Bruch of Hutchinson; a sister-in-law, Bernice Yarberry of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren. Clora was preceded in death a brother, Garland Yarberry; a daughter, Pamela Chain; and a brother-in-law, Manuel Bruch.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at Hoosier Cemetery, west of Kingman. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at Elliott Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter or Hospice House, both sent in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
