Connie S. Bowser, 74, died Dec. 8, 2015, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born Feb. 10, 1941, to Russell and Vada (Kelley) Koons.
Connie graduated from Alden High School in 1959. She worked as a teller and night transit at Hutchinson National Bank and retired from First National Bank. Connie passionately enjoyed traveling, spending time with grandchildren, and gardening. She also enjoyed crafting, ceramics, decorating and sewing.
On July 21, 1972, she married Daryl D. Bowser in Hutchinson. They shared 43 years of marriage together. Connie is survived by: husband, Daryl, of the home; children, Donna Granger of Mansfield, Texas, Denise Allen of Plano, Texas, Billy Bowser and wife Kristin of Austin, Texas, Becky Ball and husband Brian of Sterling; sisters, Linda Hogan of Lyons, Kathryn Hoffman of Hutchinson; mother-in-law, Lois I. Bowser of Hutchinson; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents and brother, Lee Koons.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Reverend Dr. Kim Biery officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday, with family to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., at the mortuary.
