Connie Diane Bredfeldt was born June 19, 1937, to Tom and Thelma Starr, from Raymond, KS.  She died April 21, 2021, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS.  Connie was married to Sherrill Bredfeldt in 1961, spending most of their married life in Hutchinson, following a short, but impactful time living in Scotland.  She was a surgical nurse, a career she loved.  Connie was also the hostess of all annual family holiday celebrations, creating forever memories for her nieces' families.

She was preceded in death by:  her husband; parents; and a brother, Scott.

Connie is survived by:  two nieces, her 'daughters in her heart', Deia Starr Rank, husband Jerry, and their sons, Quillan, Baylor, and Gable, and Lois Cox, husband Jaran, and their daughters, Emily and Abby; and special cousins and many loving friends.

Cremation is planned and a private graveside service will be scheduled at a future date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Hutchinson Public Library, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
