Obituary

Connie Lou Foust, 75, died October 13, 2018, at her home.  She was born August 22, 1943, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Charles E. and Bette L. (McKenna) Gardner.

Connie graduated from high school in Rice Lake Wisconsin in 1961. She was an advocate for disabled learning in public schools and she and her husband, Bud, were co-owners of the club El Capitan for 20 years.

Connie married Darrell Kenneth Morrow in Hutchinson. They later divorced. On February 23, 1984, she married Harold 'Bud' Foust in Hutchinson. He died October 14, 2013.

Connie is survived by: daughter, Betsy Miller of Hutchinson; son Chod Darrell Morrow and wife Wendy of Viola; grandsons, Derek Manzanares of Manhattan, KS, Chod Garrett Morrow and Carter Darrell Morrow of Viola; and granddaughter, Sydney Shea Morrow of Viola. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jim Gardner.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2018, at Elliott Chapel, with the Reverend Dr. Kim Biery officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
