Connie Sue Jamieson, 74, of Hutchinson, died May 31, 2016, at Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita. She was born Nov. 15, 1941, in Hutchinson, to Herman and Verna (Pauls) Colley.
She was a hairdresser for Sid's Beauty Shop and an instructor for Sidney's Hairdressing College for many years. Connie retired from Good Samaritan Hutchinson Village after 20 years as a CMA and food service worker. She was an avid Royals fan, motorcycle rider, Willie Nelson fan, and loved to debate politics. Connie was a member of The Father's House, Hutchinson.
On June 14, 1975, she married Guy Jamieson in Hutchinson. He survives. Other survivors include: daughters, Denise Nall (Rex), Susan McCauley (Byron); grandchildren, Delaena Nall, Tanner Nall, Marquel Harper, Shawn Davis, Matt Copeland; great-grandsons, Weston and Javian; brothers, Steve Colley (Kathy) and Larry Colley (Chris). She was preceded in death by: her parents; grandson, Christopher Copeland; brothers, Gary Colley and Richard Lee Colley. Cremation has taken place.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2016, at The Father's House, 1505 E. 20th Ave., Hutchinson, with Bishop Quintin Moore presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday at Elliott Mortuary.
