Connie Jean Smith's Obituary
Connie Jean 'Grandma Connie' Smith, died Friday, February 2, 2018, at Newton Medical Center. She was born September 26, 1948, the daughter of Alva Howard and Marjorie Irene (George) Giles.
She attended Haven High School and was a member of Faith Community Bible Church, Burrton.
On September 20, 2009, she married Jay P. Froese. He survives. Other survivors include: sons, Chris Smith and wife Allison of El Dorado, Charles Smith and wife Angela, Jason Froese and wife Samantha, and Matthew Froese, all of Burrton; sister, Carolina Lange of Calhone, MO; 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 14 siblings.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Travis Heneha presiding. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Hutchinson.
Memorial gifts may be made to the church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
