Cregg Royce Lingle, 73, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away on October 28, 2026. He was born on March 30, 1953, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to Royce and Gatha “Trudy” (Nutter) Lingle.

In his early twenties, he owned Kawasaki Korner in Hutchinson and raced in the local motocross circuit. In the 1980s, he opened Buy’em Right Auto Sales in Hutchinson, Kansas, which he ran continuously until retiring in 2014.

During middle age, he fished bass tournaments throughout the Midwest. After retiring, he loved watching motocross, bull riding, and KU basketball with his brother, Gil, who passed away last August.

He is survived by his wife, Diane (Yoder) Lingle, of Hutchinson, daughters, Jodee (Keith) Johnson, of Wichita, and Kristi (Sean) Lawrence, of Colorado Springs, mother, Gatha “Trudy” Lingle, and brother Brian Lingle (Linda Schmitt), as well as three grandchildren and a niece.

He was preceded in death by his father, Royce Lingle and his brother, Gil Lingle.

Cregg’s remains will be cremated and interred at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation for friends and family will be Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Elliott Mortuary in Hutchinson, Kansas.
