Cullum A. Henry, 70, died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born July 2, 1946, in Dalhart, Texas, to Cullum and Mary Ellen (Lambert) Henry.
After graduating from high school, Cullum enlisted in the United States Air Force and served from 1965 to 1977. He graduated from Hutchinson Community College with a degree in criminal justice and worked as a counselor at Hutchinson Correctional Facility.
In 1965, Cullum married Manee Chinachong in Thailand. She survives. Other survivors include: daughter, Mary Henry; son, James Henry; granddaughter, Brooke Henry; grandson, Jalen Henry; sister, Carol Montford and husband George, all of Hutchinson; and good friend, C.M. "Spike" Crile of Haven.
Cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at the Kansas Veteran's Cemetery, 1208 N. College St., Winfield. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Air Force Honor Guard. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary.
