Obituary

Cynda Rae Cawley, 28, died January 3, 2014, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born February 22, 1985, in Hobbs, New Mexico, the daughter of Ray and Tammy Harris Cawley. She graduated from Hobbs High School in 2003 and had a degree in child development. She was very artistic, which was evident in her love of tattoos, and the tattoo business that she did. She had previously been a teacher's aide at Morgan Elementary.

She is survived by: her husband, Rion Pina, and was a loving mother to her children, Zakary Austin Hunter, Emily Hope Hunter, Cruz L'Ray Cawley and Eliszeo Maximillion Cylus Pina. Other survivors include: her mother and stepfather, Tammy and Randy Collis of Midland, Texas; father, Ray Cawley of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sister, Kay-Lynn Cawley of Hutchinson; niece; Joanna Cook; nephews; Dylen and Keagin Moshier; grandparents, James and Frances Hillard of Lovington, New Mexico; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and great-grandparents.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
