WICHITA - Dale Leon Ailshie, 62, died March 14, 2010, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, Wichita.
He was born Feb. 24, 1948, in Spearville to Howard and Irene Speer Ailshie.
He graduated from Fort Hays State University in 1970 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
A resident of Wichita since 2007, coming from Hutchinson, he was employed by TSW Products, Hutchinson. He attended First Church of the Nazarene, Hutchinson, and sang in the church choir. Dale enjoyed camping, sports and family. In his younger years, he played the guitar and trumpet.
On Aug. 15, 1970, he married Johnna Kirk in Bucklin. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Tyson Ailshie and wife Paula, Denver, Colo., and Tray Ailshie, Kansas City; a daughter, Tisha Sinclair and husband Barry, Topeka; a brother, Roger Ailshie and wife Jean, Florida; a sister, Joycelyn Schilling and husband Phil, Dodge City; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010, at First Church of the Nazarene, 4290 N. Monroe, Hutchinson, with the Revs. Bones Nay and Douglas S. Wyatt presiding.
Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010 in Bucklin Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.
