Obituary

Dale Leon Harrison, 40, died March 28, 2009, at his home in Jarrell, Texas.

He was born April 20, 1968, to Gary "Chuck" and Kay Harrison in San Diego.

A graduate of Fairfield High School, Langdon, and Pittsburg State University, Dale was a 1986 United States National Award winner for leadership service. He was a Plastics Engineer for Pactiv Corp in Temple, Texas.

He is survived by: his wife, Harvinder; two daughters Jacquelin (15 yrs) and Brooklyn (6 yrs); along with both parents. He is also survived by brothers, Dean of Otis, Don and wife Loretta of Otis, Dan and wife Kim of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Tammy and husband Dave Moore of Nickerson, Treva and husband Todd Koob of Albany, Ore.; and many nieces and nephews.

Dale was the youngest son of Chuck and Kay. He was an avid outdoorsman and spent most of his free time fishing, hunting, and riding dirt bikes with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, son, father, brother and friend.

Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2009, at the First Baptist Church, 800 North Main, Hutchinson, with Pastor Stephen Taylor officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Sylvia Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the Dale Harrison Children's Education Fund, in care of the mortuary.
