Dale White, 92, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Hester Care Center, Wesley Towers, in Hutchinson. Dale was born in Castleton and lived most of his life in Hutchinson.
He was a veteran and served in the Navy in World War II. He was an upholsterer by trade and used to joke that he wanted on his tombstone, "Old upholsterers never die; they always recover." Dale is survived by: his children, Kathy Bodenhamer of Ione, Calif., Bill White of Wichita; two stepchildren, Rosslyn Scamehorn, Lexie Stremel, both of Colorado; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Hutchinson, is in charge of the arrangements.
