Daniel W. "Danny B." Borntrager, 38, was called home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on Aug. 20, 2016. He was born April 12, 1978, in Hutchinson, to Eli A. and Ada F. (Yoder) Borntrager. Daniel was a member of Maranatha Mennonite Church. He was co-owner of Yoder Builders, and a farmer and rancher. Daniel was a hard-working man who was passionate about his cattle.

Daniel married Ruby Carolyn Yoder on Sept.28, 2002, at Maranatha Mennonite Church, Hutchinson. They shared 13 years of marriage.
Daniel is survived by: wife, Carolyn, of the home; baby on the way, due Dec. 26; son, Jacob; mother, Ada Borntrager; sisters, Sharon Beachy and husband Perry, Leona Kemp and husband Mark; brother, Loyd Borntrager and wife Arlene; parents-in-law, Jacob Lee and Mary Lou Yoder; all of Hutchinson. He was preceded in death by: his father; brother, Arlen Ray Borntrager; nephew, Marlen Borntrager; grandparents, Amos and Sara Borntrager, Freddie and Treva Yoder.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, at Maranatha Mennonite Church, 3115 Blanchard SW, Hutchinson, with Pastor Paul Nisly officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Maranatha Mennonite Church.
