Daniel Wayne 'Danny' Burdette, 64, died April 23, 2023, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS. He was born January 11, 1959, in Hutchinson, to Ralph and Alice (Thomas) Burdette.

Danny married Maryland Franklin D. "Frankie" Witt on July 17, 1996. They were married 26 years, though they were together for over 31 years prior to his death.

He served in the United States Marine Corps from May of 1977 to December 2, 1982. Following Danny's time in the service, he worked for Sonoco for 41 years as a machine tender.

Danny is survived by: his wife, Frankie Burdette; two brothers, Kenneth (Linda) Burdette and Christopher Burdette; three sisters, Carrolyn (Danny) Miller, Kathryn Winkler, and Linda Burdette; and many nieces and nephews.

Danny was preceded in death by: his parents; nephew, Jonathan Winkler; and brother-in-law, Stephen Winkler.

He has been cremated. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
