LAWRENCE – Daniel L. "Danny" Clouse, 51, passed away on April 11, 2015. He was born Aug. 6, 1963, in Hutchinson, to Gilbert B. and Carol E. (McAtee) Clouse.

Danny graduated in 1981 from Fairfield High School. After graduating, he moved to Lawrence and became a fire fighter and an E.M.T. He retired after 29 years of service. Danny was an avid hunter, and loved anything outdoors or with animals.

Danny is survived by: his father, Gilbert B. Clouse and wife Pat of Hutchinson; daughter, Rebekah Clouse and her mother, Julie Clouse of Lawrence; siblings, Bill Clouse and wife Elisha of Guilford, Ind., Edie Castillo and husband Ascencion of Sylvia, Connie Maxwell of Kansas City, Mo., Rick and Rita Clouse of Wichita, Donnie Clouse and wife Macaria of Hutchinson; numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol E. (McAtee) Clouse.

Celebration of Life service will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015, with Prayer Service at 7 p.m. with Bones Nay presiding at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Family requested cremation to follow.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015, at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, 5700 W. 6th St., Lawrence, KS 66049.
