Darcy Lynn Wilson, 57, died April 17, 2021, at her home on Lake Rabon, South Carolina. She was born October 6, 1963, in Hutchinson.

Darcy attended Nickerson schools and graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1981. She attended Hutchinson Community College.

Darcy worked in sales and later as a houseparent and mentor for children in the foster care system. She loved to travel, spend time with her pets, shopping, and decorating. Darcy was a loving friend, wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a beautiful smile and was a very giving person.

On July 26, 2016, Darcy married Harold Wilson, in Clearwater, FL. He survives.

Also surviving are: mother, Marilyn Dunsworth (Steve); father, Don Hamilton, all of Hutchinson; son, Nathan Hamilton (Amanda), of Holiday, FL; 3 grandchildren, Alyssa, Aiden, and Syndel; sisters, Donisa Hughes (Joe), of West Virginia, Stephanie Covington, of Lawrence; and numerous extended family members.

She was preceded in death by: her sister, Debra Kay Dunsworth; and grandparents, Burt and Mary Frye and Clifford and Rosemond Dunsworth.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Elliott Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with family present to receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary.
