Darin Lee Johnson, 51, died Dec. 9, 2014, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born Feb. 24, 1963, in Hutchinson, to Leroy and Doreen (Shuck) Johnson.

He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1981. Darin worked for DCI as an item processor for 16 years. Survivors include: his father, Leroy Johnson (Mary) of Woodward, Oklahoma; brothers, Gordon Johnson of Manhattan, Kansas, Darrel Johnson (Verna), Lyndol Johnson (Lynette); sisters, Denice Phipps (Michael), and Debra Hash (Randal), all of Hutchinson. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Dallas Evans presiding. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Council of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson KS 67501.
