Darlene Marie Main, 85, of Hutchinson, died March 19, 2022, at Diversicare of Hutchinson. She was born October 29, 1936, in Chicago, IL, to William and Mary Carsten.

Darlene graduated from high school in Chicago. She moved to Hutchinson in 1959 and worked in the jewelry department at Pegues for many years before she retired. Darlene enjoyed flower gardening and was a member of Hutchinson Iris Club. She was a huge Chicago Bears fan.

On April 22, 1959, Darlene married John A. Main, in Chicago. He died October 23, 2004.

She is survived by: her son-in-law, David McCamant of Hutchinson; grandson, Cooper McCamant of Overland Park; and sister, Bonnie White of Chicago.

Darlene was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; son, Bill; daughter, Kim McCamant; and brother, Bill Carsten.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Elliott Chapel. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park. Friends may sign her memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Tuesday.
