Darrell Dwayne Giles, went to be with the Lord Feb. 24, 2011, passing away in Liberal, Kan.

He was born Dec. 5, 1949, in Hutchinson, Kan., to Alva H. and Margery A. George Giles.

Survivors include: brothers, Edward of Oklahoma City and Allen of West Plains, Mo.; sisters, Connie Smith of Burrton, Carolina Lane of Calhoun, Mo., and Anna Belle Mitchell of Beulah, ND; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, five older brothers, three younger brothers and three older sisters.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with Pastor Travis Heneha officiating. Friends may sign the book 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. through Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Cremation has taken place.
