Darrell E. Walker's Obituary
Darrell E. Walker, 77 died September 3, 2007 at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
He was born Oct. 7, 1929 in Abbyville, the son of Jasper E. and Esther S. Dunn Walker. He was a lifetime Hutchinson resident. In 1947, he graduated from Hutchinson High School. He was a retired Route Salesman for the former Betts Bakery.
On Sept. 10, 1950 he married Alice L. Long in Hutchinson. She died Oct. 21, 2003.
Survivors include: two sons, Darrell D. Walker, Hutchinson, Gary Walker, Hutchinson; one daughter Sheryl Scobel, Hammond, LA; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Elliott Mortuary with the Rev. Kim Biery presiding. Friends may sign the register book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Cremation has taken place.
Memorials may be sent to the Hospice House of Reno County in care of the funeral home.
