David L. Eshelbrenner, 35, died Feb. 17, 2014, at his home in South Hutchinson. David was born Oct. 2, 1978, in Hutchinson, the son of Carl W. Eshel-brenner III and Lorna Kay Bergen Eshelbrenner.

He was a graduate of Hutchinson High School. Survivors include: his father, Carl of Hutchinson; half sisters, Kaili Marie Eshelbrenner of Medicine Lodge, Kan. and Micheala Erin Eshelbrenner of Hutchinson; grandmother, Kay Bergen of Hutchinson; aunts, Barbara Whitmore of Hutchinson, Anna Mary Mock and her husband Leland of South Hutchinson, Nancy Blanchard of Greensboro, NC; uncle, Marc Bergen and his wife Teri of South Hutchinson; cousins, Jessica Bergen, Jhenna Thomas, Ashlynne Thomas, Jennifer Reese, Matt Mock and his wife Deana. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorna; grandparents, Ray Bergen, Wilma Ruth and Carl Eshelbrenner Jr; and an aunt, Cynthia Bergen Akins.


Memorial graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at the Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson, with Naomi Jackson officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
