David S. Lenz, 37, of Hutchinson died Nov. 30, 2010, at his home. He was born Aug. 4, 1973, in Hutchinson the son of Donald C. and Verona "Roni" Hirst Lenz.


A lifelong Hutchinson resident, he was a property manager for Lenz Investments. He previously was a security guard at T.E.C.H., Hutchinson Community College, and most recently Hutchinson Mall. He attended First Church of The Nazarene.

Survivors include: his parents; brothers, Donald A. Lenz and wife Judy of Wichita, Gary Lenz and wife Patty, Danny Lenz, Billy Lewis Hirst and Tanner Lenz, all of Hutchinson; and sisters, Beth Blackburn and husband Steve of Clinton, Iowa, Sharon Roddy and husband James, Krystal Lenz, Tammy Lenz, Rozella Lenz and Sarah Lenz, all of Hutchinson.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at Elliott Mortuary, with Pastor Willard Stafford presiding. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.

A visitation will be Sunday 1 to 9 p.m. and Monday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, all at Elliott Mortuary.
