David E. Magerfleisch, 68, died May 29, 2016, at his home in Hutchinson. He was born Nov. 24, 1947, in Flagler, Colo., to Walter and Florence (Snodgrass) Magerfleisch.

David graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1968, and then entered the United States Navy, where he served for four years. He was a carpenter by trade.

Survivors include: sons, Lucas Redman (Heather) of Hutchinson, Jeff Magerfleisch of Oklahoma; brother, Ken Magerfleisch; sister, Verna Cross; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents and son, Jason Magerfleisch. Cremation has taken place. A private family service was held. Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501, is in charge of arrangements.
