David Allen "Skid Mark" Geiser, 36, died Oct. 19, 2015, at his home. He was born April 2, 1979, in Orrville, Ohio, to Harold and Bonnie (Sattler) Geiser.
He attended Smithville High School, Smithville, Ohio. David was an owner/operator, self-employed truck driver for Isaacson Truckline in Salina. Truck driving was his passion, second though, to his love for his family. He was a doting and loving father to his two sons. David was always there to help others, and lived his life with a passion.
He attended Maranatha Mennonite Church.
On July 3, 2004, he married Candy Estus in Hutchinson. She survives. Other survivors include: sons, Chance and Caiden Geiser of the home; mom, Bonnie Geiser, Smithville, Ohio; brother, Frank Geiser (Tiffany), Smithville, Ohio; sister-in-law, Glenda Yoder, Hutchinson; mother and father in-law, Diana and Michael Estus, Moundridge; nephews and niece, Caleb, Jordan, and Isabella Yoder and Garrett Geiser.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Harold Geiser; and brother, Randy Geiser.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, at Maranatha Mennonite Church, 3115 Blanchard SW, Hutchinson, with Pastor Paul Nisly officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the David Geiser Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
