David A. Scott, 57, of Oklahoma City, died December 13, 2024.  He was born August 26, 1967, in Great Bend, KS, to Harry L. and Lois J. (Clifford) Scott.

David attend schools in Great Bend and Weatherford, OK.  He was a long-haul trucker.  David loved family gatherings, playing games, Christmas and animals especially cats.  He was a life-long Dallas Cowboys fan.

He is survived by: mother, Lois (Terry) Burgess; father, Harry (Kay) Scott; sister, Tonya R. McVicar; and best friend, Justin Heistand.  He was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Steve McVicar.

A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 am Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Hope Church, 1701 N. Main St, Hutchinson, KS, 67502, with Pastor Jason Pickering officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Safe Haven Animal Rescue in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS  67501.
