David E. Unruh's Obituary
David Eugene Unruh, 45, died July 2, 2007, in Minden, Neb.
He was born March 9, 1962, in Hutchinson, the son of Kenneth G. and Elnora Scheuermann Unruh. He graduated in 1981, from Hutchinson High School. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, he was a millwright for Southwest Associates, Burrton, and had worked for American Maplan, McPherson, and Alcoa, Hutchinson.
He belonged to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hutchinson.
Survivors include: his parents, Hutchinson; two brothers, Kenneth DeWayne, Olalla, Wash., and Daniel, Leavenworth; two sisters, Pam Nelson, Hutchinson, and Suzan Crystal, Kansas City, Mo.; and three nephews, Christopher, and Samuel Nelson, and Trevor Crystal.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 407 East 12, Hutchinson, with Pastor Daniel Galchutt presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be Penwell Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum.
Memorials may be sent to the Hutchinson Humane Society, or Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Love Fund, both in care of the funeral home.
