HAVEN - David W. Richardson, 56, died July 20, 2013, at his home in Haven. He was born January 8, 1957, in Hutchinson, to John F. and Sharon L. (Hedger) Richardson.

He was owner and operator of Dave Richardson Construction and Richardson Tree Service. David was on the Haven Township Board, a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and a former trustee for St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was baptized on May 20, 1979, and confirmed on April 13, 1980.

On March 10, 1979, he married Rhonda Blocker at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Haven. She survives.

Other survivors include: children, Mike Richardson, and Marcus Richardson, both of Haven, and Julie Richardson of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Phoenix Sky Richardson, Tavion David Richardson; mother, Sharon Richardson; sisters, Kathy Erhard, and Julie Thompson; and mother-in-law, Nellie Blocker.

He was preceded in death by his father, John F. Richardson, a brother, John R. Richardson, and father-in-law, Harold Blocker.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 8513 East Arlington Road, Haven, with Pastor John Pool officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, in care of the mortuary.
