Dean Allen Richardson, 67, died July 31, 2022, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.  He was born June 22, 1955, in Jackson, MI, to Robert Dean and Mary J. (Corts) Richardson.

Dean attended Hutchinson High School and graduated from Hutchinson Community College.  He retired after five years of service as a case manager at Horizons Mental Health Center.  Dean could often be found outside fishing, barbequing and smoking meat, and tinkering.   His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.  Dean was a member of Partridge Community Church.

On July 4, 1987, he married Janice (Stiggins) Landon, in Partridge.  They recently celebrated 35 years of marriage.

Dean is survived by:  his wife, Janice "Jan" Richardson of Partridge; bonus son, Terry Landon (Toni); grandchildren, Jessica Woodyard (Greg) and Turner Landon; great-grandchildren, Jovie Harrison, Jhett Woodyard, and Jagson Woodyard; sisters, Joann Engelhardt (Steve) and Ellen K. Lewis, all of Hutchinson; sisters-in-law, Ginger Stiggins and Vicki Galloway (Brad); special aunt, Virginia Packebush, all of Partridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by:  his parents; special aunt, Jeaneen Taplin; and his K-9 companions, Byron and Chewy.

Celebration of life will be 4 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022, at Partridge Community Church.
