HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. - Deborah Ann Polk Murphy, 50, died Sept. 9, 2006, after a 3 1/2-year battle with cancer.
She was born in 1956 in Hutchinson daughter of Calvin and Earline Polk. She graduated from Hutchinson, High School and Salt City Business College. A resident of Highland Ranch, she was a lab technician for pharmaceutical companies in McPherson, Albuquerque, N.M., and Buffalo, N.Y. She was a stay-at-home mom when she had her family.
She married John Murphy in Buffalo, NY. He survives
Other survivors include: two children, Katie (10) and Connor (7); her parents, Calvin and Earline Polk, Hutchinson; two brothers, Earl Polk and wife, Pam, Burrton, and Jerry Polk, Fort Worth, Texas; a niece, Sparkle Faidley; and two nephews, J.J. and Jeff Polk.
Funeral was Sept. 13, 2006, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Denver.
