Debra R. 'Debby' Hendershot, 65, of Hutchinson, died December 5, 2017, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born January 16, 1952, in Hutchinson, to Jack L. and Amy Arylene (Williams) Grimm. Debby graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1970.

On November 28, 1970, she married Richard L. 'Dick' Hendershot in Hutchinson. They shared 47 years of marriage.

Debby loved spending time with her family, but especially her grandchildren.

Debby is survived by: husband, Dick, of the home; daughters, Staci Jackson and husband Bart of Kingman, Stephani Spiess of Wichita; son, Richard Hendershot Jr. of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Baylee Jackson, Shyann Jackson, both of Kingman, Trystan Spiess, Connor Spiess, both of Wichita; sister, Becky Grimm and companion Tom of Hutchinson; brother, Michael 'Mick' Grimm of Wichita; nieces, Christi Hobbs, Jaime Casey, Tyann White; nephew, Jimmie Hobbs; and numerous extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Jim Unruh officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may sign her book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Council of Reno County or Via Christi Philanthropy, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main Hutchinson, KS 67501.
