Delmar Daniel Schwartz, 86, died April 9, 2013, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born Sept. 18, 1926, in Kingman, to Daniel and Virgie (Upchurch) Schwartz.

On Dec. 14, 1946, he married Cleda Allene Wipf in Kingman. He has sorely missed her since her death on Dec. 18, 1998. Delmar was a member of First Church of the Nazarene since March 26, 1950. A longtime truck driver for Jackson's Ice Cream, he was a member of the Teamster's Union.

He is survived by: daughter, Connie Randle and husband Kenneth of Lake Tahoe, Calif.; three sons, Greg Schwartz of Zillah, Wash., Tony Schwartz of Clinton, Mo., Bruce Schwartz of San Diego, Calif.; sister, Lily Mae Kaufman of San Lorenzo, Calif.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn Bush and a brother, Otto Schwartz.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2013, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Reverend Bones Nay officiating. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Reno County or donor's choice, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N.
